Registers
The Legal Register Centre (LRC) serves as the controller of the key registers kept in the Ministry of Justice’s administrative branch in Finland. The registers mainly contain information on decisions issued by other authorities.
Extracts and certificates can be ordered from the registers. Instructions for ordering extracts and certificates are provided on the dedicated page of each register. For some extracts and certificates, the LRC collects the fees specified in the currently valid legislation.
Some of the registers are public, and the information in them is available to anyone for free. Other registers are secret and require a specific purpose for ordering an extract.
The authorities’ rights of access to information have been provided for separately for each authority.
