For students

LRC offers several internship opportunities and thesis possibilities for higher education students each year. An internship or thesis project can serve as a great stepping stone to a career at LRC.

Internships at LRC

We recruit university interns annually for periods of 3–6 months. Internship positions are available throughout the year. It is important to us that you get the most out of your internship and have the opportunity to develop your skills and workplace competencies.

Internship positions are primarily available in System Services and Information Services. Additionally, we recruit several interns for election support tasks during general elections held in Finland.

Our interns must be higher education students and enrolled at a higher education institution during their internship or at least at the beginning of the period.

We announce our publicly available internship positions on Valtiolle.fi, where they are also listed on our open positions page. You can also apply for an internship by submitting an open application to kirjaamo.ork@om.fi.

Thesis work for LRC

We also offer opportunities for thesis and final project work.
