This is the accessibility statement of the Legal Register Centre.
The accessibility statement has been updated on 18 September 2024, 10 July 2024. The accessibility statement was drawn up on 11 November 2022.
The accessibility statement concerns the service www.oikeusrekisterikeskus.fi. The service is subject to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, which requires that public online services must be accessible.
The accessibility statement evaluates the website’s functionalities and content based on the WCAG 2.1 standard's level AA requirements and on general observations. The accessibility was evaluated by a third-party expert organisation in 2022.
Fulfilment of accessibility requirements
Accessibility has been taken into account on the website from a variety of perspectives, and the site partially meets accessibility requirements. The site has few interactive elements, which makes it easy to use as a rule.
Improvement of accessibility
In 2024:
- The website content describing the LRC's services have been clarified and harmonised in terms of content and text elements, such as headings.
- The navigation structure of the service content has been clarified.
- Shortcomings in the text alternatives to images and statistical graphs
- Shortcomings in headings and the labelling of list elements. The Services section's accessibility has been rectified in 2024. The rectifications to accessibility will continue in the website update in 2025.
- Shortcomings in the accessibility of PDF files.
- Shortcomings in the accessibility of the Kuulutusrekisteri (public notices register) page. The rectifications to the Kuulutusrekisteri will be implemented as their own technical and content project as part of the publishing system update in 2025.
The measures for improving the accessibility of the www.oikeusrekisterikeskus.fi website are still ongoing. Accessibility is reviewed and improved on a regular basis.
