The head of the Legal Register Centre is the Chief Director, who is appointed by the Ministry of Justice for a five-year term.

The Legal Register Centre consists of five branches and employs approximately 250 people. The employees of the Legal Register Centre work in close cooperation with each other regardless of the administrative branch.

Stakeholder Services

Stakeholder Services develops and implements the Legal Register Centre’s customer and stakeholder activities, acting as a link between the needs of the customers from the administrative branch and ICT solutions. Stakeholder Services is responsible for the ICT procurement and agreement processes, as well as communications with the Legal Register Centre’s various stakeholders.

The head of Stakeholder Services is Customer Director Tami Koivuniemi.

Information Services

Information Services acts as the controller for information systems and registers in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Justice and discloses information from registers to the general public and other authorities. It is also responsible for the collection of fines and other penalties on behalf of the State and provides its expertise in information management for the entire administrative branch.

The head of Information Services is Branch Director Teemu Mikkola.

Administrative Services

Administrative Services provides centralised general administration, HR and financial services for the staff of the Legal Register Centre, as well as carries the responsibility for financial planning, internal control and audits. Administrative Services also maintains the employees’ competence and the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The head of Administrative Services is Branch Director Jari Saarela.
