The statistics on fines, administrative penalties and traffic offences are always compiled on 30 June of the year following the statistical year in question. The data for the statistical years 2013-2022 have been updated to 30 November 2023. These penalties also arrive with a delay for enforcement after the statistical date.

Statistics of trafic fines
The traffic offence fee is an administrative penalty based on the Road Traffic Act (729/2018), which entered into force on 1 June 2020, and replaces the previous penalty fee, which can be found on the Fines page. In 2020, 46592 traffic fines were issued, amounting to 5759120€. In 2021, 194634 and 23459220 traffic fines were issued. In 2022, 141461 and 17119260 were issued.
